There are several graduate and undergraduate programs, both in the Physics Department and the School of Education that can allow you to work with the Physics Education Research Group, either through teacher preparation and professional development or through research.
Programs in the Department of Physics
BA in Physics – Education Track: This program is appropriate for physics majors who are interested in becoming high school teachers. Students that complete this track will graduate and be ready to enter Florida public schools and earn a teaching certificate. http:/physics.fiu.eduundergraduate/

Programs in College of Arts, Sciences & Education
M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction: This program is appropriate for in-service teachers who are interested in earning a masters degree while engaging in PER.
Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction: This program is appropriate for students who are interested in earning a doctorate in education while engaging in PER in preparation for a career in academia or education related fields.
